The Outlook Business "Women of Worth" (WOW) awards were held in 2017. The awards honour women for their strong entrepreneurship skills, their powerful perseverance and their iron hearts to succeed. At a beautiful event held at the luxurious Four Seasons, The Outlook Business celebrated the iron women leaders with the "Women of Worth" awards. The awards also honour them for their deep contribution to society and their inspiration to society women.

Ms. Pankaja Munde, the Women’s Child Welfare, Rural Development Minister of Maharashtra, conducted a panel discussion called "Rise up." The Swades Foundation’s Zarina Screwvala awarded the WOW winners. Zarina Screwvala pointed out, India needs to eradicate poverty. It is poverty that causes the inability to dream and as a result, women suffer and are tormented. "It causes the lack of the ability of women to aspire on their own."

In another discussion with Actor Vidya Balan and Outlook Group’s N Mahalakshmi, Vidya observed that too much sexism exists in Bollywood and it needs to be corrected as well as the issues around it. Adding, it’s a myth that women have shorter careers in the film industry than men. Later, Vidya unveiled the latest issue of the fortnightly magazine with the editor N Mahalakshmi and CEO Indranil Roy.

To add glamour to the event, PCJeweller presented a beautiful fashion show. There were dazzling models attired in white gowns sashaying down the ramp around the seated guests.
